The Dassault Falcon 900DX is a heavy business jet with three Honeywell TFE731-60 engines, a version of the 900EX with fewer fuel tanks. Engines, the EASy cockpit and the interior are the same as in the 900EX EASy, but the lower fuel load gives a lower take-off weight and a shorter take-off run. The cabin is 10.11 m long, 1.88 m high and 2.34 m wide, with 12 to 14 seats in three zones in a typical layout.

The front zone usually has four club seats, the middle one seats around a conference table or a second club group, and the rear a divan with armchairs that turns into a sleeping area on a night flight. With 1.88 m of headroom passengers walk upright.
Upholstery, screens and satellite internet depend on the aircraft and on whether the owner has refurbished it, so each quote names the aircraft and its equipment.
| Cabin | |
|---|---|
| Cabin height | 1.88 m |
| Cabin width | 2.34 m |
| Cabin length | 10.11 m, without cockpit and baggage hold |
| Seats | typically 12 to 14 in three zones |
| Toilets | full washroom at the rear, in some aircraft a second at the front |
| Galley | at the entrance |
| Baggage access in flight | yes, heated hold |
| Wi-Fi | depends on the aircraft |

The 3.6 m³ hold of the Falcon 900DX lies behind the rear washroom in the heated part of the fuselage and can be reached during the flight. Six to eight passengers fit large suitcases, skis in bags and golf bags. With twelve on board there is one large suitcase and hand luggage per person, so report sports kit in advance and the operator checks that it fits.
For Tenerife or Dubai with a full cabin the operator recalculates the weight for the day and the forecast wind.
Without the extra tanks of the 900EX the Falcon 900DX flies about 750 km less far, but compared with the older 900C it has more range and climbs faster. With a full cabin and headwind the range shrinks, so the operator recalculates the longest legs.
The short take-off run and the steep-approach approval matter most at these airports:

Twenty-eight Falcon 900DX routes from all thirteen hubs, from Munich - Nice (1:14 h) to Zurich - New York with a fuel stop. The London City and Cannes rows assume an aircraft and crew with the needed approval. Prices are one way for the whole aircraft with crew, without airport fees and passenger taxes.

The calculator shows an indicative Falcon 900DX price for any route, including departures from regional airports across Europe.
The flight-hour rate starts at EUR 9,300 for the whole aircraft, with crew and fuel. On a short leg positioning, the operator's minimum charge and handling form a fixed part, so Munich - Nice costs EUR 19,500 for 1:14 h. On longer legs it weighs less: Paris - Tenerife costs EUR 44,000 and Nice - Doha EUR 61,000.
The price does not change with the number of passengers, so a full cabin brings the cost per seat down.
On Milan - London City the price covers the whole aircraft, so the cost per person depends on the group size:
Empty legs on the Falcon 900DX itself appear only now and then. Counting the 900EX and 900LX with the same cabin, the chance is much higher. A suitable leg can be 40-65 % below a normal charter, as an example, not a promise; date and route are fixed and the flight can be cancelled. Send the route and a date window to empty-legs@jets.flights or through the Empty Legs page.
Clients usually compare the Falcon 900DX with the other two EASy versions of the Falcon 900, the twin-engine Falcon 2000LX and the Challenger 605.
Send the route, date, number of passengers and baggage, including skis, golf bags or a pet. If you want London City, Lugano or Sion, say so at once, and we search only for aircraft and crews with the needed approval. We work with operators holding an AOC, and the quote names the operator, the aircraft and its equipment.
From EUR 23,000 one way for the whole aircraft, about 1:37 h. With eight passengers that is EUR 2,900 each. Airport fees and the Italian passenger tax come on top, and the aircraft and crew must hold the London City approval.
Positioning, the operator's minimum charge and handling form a fixed part. Munich - Nice (1:14 h) costs EUR 19,500, while on Geneva - Dubai (6:18 h) at EUR 66,000 that part is spread over more hours.
Airport and handling fees, passenger taxes, catering, winter de-icing, sometimes a cabin attendant and the crew's hotel if the aircraft waits. Positioning from another country appears as a separate line.
Only occasionally on the Falcon 900DX itself. Empty legs on the 900EX and 900LX with the same cabin are more frequent, and we offer those as well.
It has fewer fuel tanks, so the range is 7,593 km instead of 8,334 km and the take-off run is shorter. Engines, EASy cockpit, cabin and hold are the same.
Typically 12 to 14 in three zones on legs of up to three hours. For a night flight plan about eight, so that several can sleep flat.
With six to eight passengers, yes, in the 3.6 m³ hold. With a full cabin give the number of items, and the operator checks that everything fits.
The Falcon 900DX is approved for the steep approach and for London City, but a landing depends on the aircraft, crew training and the operator's approval, and short runways limit take-off weight. Without such an aircraft we fly to Farnborough or Biggin Hill, and for Lugano we suggest Milan.
